Bet’s B&B is a clean, spacious, fully self-contained studio in Annandale, just 3.5 km from Sydney’s CBD
It’s a big, 54 square metres, open-plan, modern studio with exposed brick walls, timber flooring, and a soaring high-arched timber beam ceiling.
You have your own private entrance. The B&B – a two-storey building – is separate from the house, so you can come and go as you please.
All the facilities are for your exclusive use. Upstairs are the lounge and dining areas, a kitchenette, a Queen-size bed, bedside tables, a chest of drawers, wardrobe and writing desk. Downstairs is your private bathroom, toilet, washing machine and clothes dryer. There’s a hair dryer and bathrobes, an iron and ironing board.
The studio has reverse-cycle air-conditioning, free high-speed WiFi, a big flat-screen TV, lots of books and a DVD library.
Each day, we supply generous breakfast provisions. With a fully equipped kitchenette, including a refrigerator, microwave, twin cook-top, toaster, jug and kitchenware, you can cook what you like, when you like.
Bet’s B&B is close to the city by public transport and conveniently located, just minutes from Annandale’s shopping strip, including more than 20 cafés and restaurants.
On Annandale’s foreshore, there are 17 hectares of parkland, criss-crossed by walking, jogging or cycling paths that lead you along the shoreline to Sydney’s popular Fish Markets and further on to Darling Harbour and into the city.
The bus stop is a five-minute walk from the studio. From there, the 470 bus takes 20 minutes to reach Martin Place in the CBD from where it’s a short stroll to the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the historic Rocks area. If you take the 370 bus, it’s a 60-minute ride to Coogee Beach. Along the route you pass Sydney University and the food and entertainment precinct of Newtown.
An alternative route to downtown Sydney is via the lightrail. It’s an easy10-minute walk from Bet’s B&B to Rozelle Bay station and then a 20-minute rail journey that terminates at Central Railway Station. Along the way, you pass Sydney’s popular Fish Markets, China Town and Darling Harbour.
