Danny’s Shoe Repairs located in Claremont Western Australia, specialises in shoe repairs along with retail trading. Originally from Italy, Danny came to Perth in 1954, and continued to expand his skills and fulfill his love for shoes with a job in a shoe factory in Fremantle as a sports shoe maker. Some years later, he decided to open his own store, and had the determination to make a future for himself as he knew his trade well. Beginning with retail footwear trade, some in which were made by himself, he also ventured into doing shoe repairs. Danny’s Shoe Repairs thrived & gained a fantastic reputation so over the years specialised in hand making custom made football and soccer boots for many of Perth’s elite sports players.

Frank & Robert, his two sons in time joined Danny, and he expanded even further into more retail opportunities with stores in Claremont, Applecross and Geraldton, then expanded even further into the wholesale trade, importing, exporting and supplying other shoe repairers and wholesalers all over Australia with machinery, parts and accessories. Danny sadly passed away in 2004, but his sons continued to keep the tradition going with their own stores in Claremont and West Perth, and the love of footwear from their father remains obvious as comes through in the care taken in each and every job.
