NOMUULA… African for rain was established as a Dorper and White Dorper Stud in 2012. Located in Moonbi NSW we breed and raise on 3 farms, Stonehaven, Willowview and Connelly. After thoroughly researching the Dorper and White Dorper breed I decided to venture into breeding stud stock so therefore set about purchasing the best foundation ewes for my newly formed Nomuula. Early selections where based on my criteria for achieving excellence and following the breed standard. At Nomuula our aim is to produce masculine rams of very high standard that are structurally correct with great size and length and have a good nature. Our ewes are feminine with outstanding mothering qualities and are extremely fertile. 2015 saw the beginnings of our sister stud NEVAEH whom I pride in carrying the same standards as NOMUULA.
Hi, my name is Cherilyn Lowe, I am the Stud Principal of Nomuula Dorpers and White Dorpers. Born at Glen Innes, NSW, I was raised on the land and expressed a passion for livestock from a young age. My breeding experience began in the Thoroughbred industry where my husband, Mark, and I have achieved industry heights with homebred Group 1 winners.
Our breeding success in the racing industry was a pivotal point in encouraging me to pursue a passion with my Dorper and White Dorper studs. I am a strong believer in the importance of a good female base to any operation.

I have taken the knowledge and skill set from one industry and applied it to another. Since entering into the world of Dorpers and White Dorpers, I have completed a Junior and Senior Dorper course and am forever striving to better my knowledge and skills to produce the finest studstock available. Nomuula is a boutique Dorper and White Dorper stud, with a sophisticated and specialized clientele which we invite you to join. We pride ourselves on breeding excellence, it is really that simple.
